Staten Island New Nissan Dealerships Expect Juke To Shake Things Up

Throughout 2009, automotive manufacturers continued to struggle with the failing economy. All industries were hit hard by the recession, but if you were reading the headlines, you know that auto sales were one of the most heavily affected areas of the recession. The Big Three were among the hardest hit, but it extended to all other automakers, except Kia who remained bulletproof throughout the long, arduous recovery period. For 2010, automakers were targeting innovation, not just in fuel economy, but in style, precision, power, agility and reliability. One of the manufacturers suddenly reappearing in the public eye is Nissan, who let loose an array of announcements to try to shake things up.
You can still buy a quality vehicle at any NJ used Nissan dealership, but the focus lately has been on where Nissan is headed for the future. A huge step forward in fuel efficiency was the item of news surrounding the coming release of the Nissan Leaf, one of the first electric vehicles to hit the market in the new decade. 2011 Nissan NJ drivers are gearing up for the innovative new vehicle to hit storeroom floors everywhere. Another key announcement revolved around a 40th Anniversary edition of the Nissan Z car. But, if you’re looking for a new, progressive sense of style in your vehicle, you may find yourself most titillated by the recent announcement of the Nissan Juke, one of the smallest and most interesting looking crossovers I’ve ever seen. Nissan just debuted this new car at the Detroit Auto Show, getting the media buzzing and 2011 NJ Nissan dealers prepping.
The big news out of the Nissan camp is the addition of the smallest crossover in its lineup that acts as a vote of confidence from the manufacturer’s management team in its move towards crossover vehicles. Smaller than the Rogue (another Nissan crossover), the Juke will function on Nissan’s small-car platform used for the Versa. NJ used Nissan dealers already feature both the Rogue and the Versa, but this will be the first time anything like the Juke will join its lineup. It will be based on the Qazana concept released at the Geneva Motor Show, a vehicle Staten Island Nissan auto parts dealers have been waiting for in earnest anticipation.
While we don’t have too many details yet, Nissan says it will release more information on the Juke in February. During a meeting with journalists at the Detroit Auto Show, Carlos Tavares, chairman of Nissan Americas, said, “We are doing so well with the Rogue that there is no reason to think we won’t do better with the addition of a smaller crossover.” That’s thinking ahead for the manufacturer about to release one of the biggest innovations in fuel efficient technology the market has yet to see. And your Staten Island Nissan auto parts dealer is preparing to benefit from the coming release of the Leaf.
Even though the economic downturn has caused a magnificent drop in auto sales, Nissan continues to forge ahead with the belief that the only way to get ahead in tough times is to continue spending. I couldn’t agree more.
